Suspension Opening Night

The much awaited day finally arrived.  As all 8 of us studied together at RMIT in Brunswick, we knew quite a lot of people in common.  It was very nice to see some of our past teachers and ex-students. There was a happy buzz of voices of people catching up and being pleased to see each other.
Each of us had family and friends attend as well, so our exhibition opening was very well attended.

The black to white colour palette drew the work together into a cohesive whole and looked great in the white space.

Special thanks to Ilka who finalised the hanging of the smaller works and sample pieces.

It was quite amusing to see people navigating their way around the gallery, dodging the suspended works.  No-one caused any disruption at all.  Amazing.
