As you ascend the stairs

I often use the underground pass that goes from Flinders St Station to Degraves St in the city (Melbourne).
Last Monday I was greeted with this beautiful, cheery sight.

There used to be what looked to be legal street art there, then one of the pieces was vandalised and it went into disuse. But lately there has been some interesting work there again. I hope this one survives the vandals.

Love the bright colours Makes the space look very cheerful and energetic,BUT that eye peering out and watching is a little unnerving....

Yes, I wasn't sure what to make of that. I first saw the colours, of course. They emerged gradually as I ascended the stairs, not that quickly. Then I noticed the eye. But I was in a good mood after seeing the colours, especially as is was such a cool and dark (and damp) summer day.
So the eye didn't bother me that much.
